A Russian drone has attacked a Marshall Islands-flagged commercial vessel in the Black Sea. The vessel was carrying rapeseed oil, and the impact set its superstructure on fire. One person was killed and seven others were injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by the head of the Odessa Oblast Administrative Organization, Oleg Kiper.<\/p>\n

The ship was damaged as a result of the attack. After being hit by a Russian UAV, a fire broke out on board.<\/p>\n

“By deliberately targeting civilian shipping and port infrastructure, Russia is grossly violating the norms of international law, creating a threat to global food security,” the post says.<\/p>\n

Russia regularly attacks Ukrainian port infrastructure and civilian vessels in the Black Sea, which poses risks to the security of maritime transportation and the export of Ukrainian agricultural products.<\/p>\n
