According to the investigation, she transferred about 43 euros for the needs of the Russian military.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delfi.lv\/161\/criminal\/120137463\/krievijas-militaristu-finansesana-apsudzetajai-rezeknietei-piespriez-sesus-gadus-cietuma\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is reported by<\/a> Delfi.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Latvian State Security Service, Kamleva used an acquaintance in Belarus as an intermediary and transferred the money to a Russian citizen.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation found that the funds were intended to purchase equipment that the Russian military could use to counter drones.<\/p>\n<p>Before the verdict was announced, Kamlyova called her action a mistake but denied any intention to support the Russian army. She claimed that she was unaware of the military purpose of the transfer.<\/p>\n<p>Kamleva is a member of the Russian Union of Latvia party.<\/p>\n<p>During the hearing, she testified in Russian with the help of an interpreter, although she stated that she spoke Latvian.<\/p>\n<p>The court sentenced her to <strong>six years in prison<\/strong> , plus <strong>three years of probation<\/strong> .
