Emergency power outages have been introduced in Kyiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Chernihiv regions. In the capital, water pumping stations are partially without power due to power outages.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by DTEK<\/a> and Ukrenergo<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Emergency shutdowns in Kyiv and Kyiv region were introduced at the command of Ukrenergo. Emergency restrictions are also in effect in Zhytomyr and Chernihiv regions.<\/p>\n

Ukrenergo explained that the reason was the difficult situation in the energy system after Russian shelling.<\/p>\n

In regions where emergency power outages have been implemented, previously published schedules are currently not in effect. Therefore, it is impossible to predict the exact time of power outage and restoration based on regular schedules.<\/p>\n

Energy professionals are working to stabilize the power system. Emergency outages will be lifted once the situation allows for a return to planned restrictions.<\/p>\n

At the same time, water pumping stations in Kyiv have been partially de-energized due to power outages.<\/p>\n

Ukrenergo warned that the situation in the power system may change, and urged Ukrainians to follow the messages of local regional power companies. Consumers who have electricity are asked to use electricity sparingly. <\/p>\n
