In the fourth round match, she defeated American Ann Lee and made it to the top eight.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> It took Svitolina about an hour and a half to win. The world number seven took the first set 6:2, and in the second she lost three games to her opponent &#8211; 6:3.<\/p>\n<p> Anne Lee is currently ranked 30th in the WTA rankings.<\/p>\n<p> For a ticket to the semifinals, the Ukrainian will meet with the representative of China, Zheng Qinwen, who is ranked 54th in the world.<\/p>\n<p> This is Svitolina&#8217;s first appearance on the courts in Beijing in seven years. She last played at the China Open in 2019, and is participating in this competition for the eighth time overall.<\/p>\n<p> The Ukrainian reached the quarterfinals of the Beijing tournament ten years ago.<\/p>\n<p> The China Open will end on October 11.
