Ukrainian actor Sergei Strelnikov announced that he has enlisted in the Ukrainian Defense Forces. He will serve in the FERRO-6 unmanned aerial vehicle battalion of the 9th separate unmanned aerial vehicle brigade.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The actor announced this on social media.<\/p>\n

“I officially announce that I have joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and taken the oath of allegiance to our people. From now on, I am part of the FERRO-6 Battalion team of the 9th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade,” Strelnikov wrote.<\/p>\n

He said he plans to quickly master new skills and apply them in practice. He also wants to tell stories about the soldiers who defend Ukraine every day.<\/p>\n

“I’ll also be highlighting the stories of those who daily uphold the sky and the earth. Those you don’t always hear about in the news, but who are the ones who make it happen,” Strelnikov noted.<\/p>\n

The actor has played over 50 roles in films and television series. He is widely known, in particular, for his portrayal of Dovbush in the film of the same name and his role as Sova in the film “Keelhouse,” which was released nationally on April 23, 2026.<\/p>\n

Strelnikov previously said that it was an honor for him to work on the film with real military personnel.<\/p>\n
