The platform is designed for high-precision strikes on enemy targets and is already in use by the Ukrainian military.

This was reported by the company’s press service.

Stormbird was developed as a tactical strike complex based on the Raybird architecture. The new platform has broader capabilities for integrating various payloads, allowing it to be used to perform a variety of combat missions.

In early 2026, Stormbird was codified by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. After that, the complex began to be used by units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to destroy Russian targets.

One of the Stormbird’s equipment options is the Remora gliding munition. The drone can also carry the Quadremora, an FPV-type loitering munition.

Another payload option is a repeater. It is designed to maintain communication with the drone outside the coverage of ground infrastructure.

During the development of Stormbird, the requirements for stealth and survivability of the drone were taken into account. The compact design of the airframe should reduce its radar signature.

The complex also has a high level of autonomy and is designed to carry out high-precision strikes in difficult combat conditions.

As previously reported, Ukrainian developers have created a digital communication system PALYCH, which changes the frequencies of the drone control channel depending on the radio-electronic environment . According to the developers, the technology allows for the extension of the use of civilian UAVs at the front for up to 6–8 months.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , X , Telegram , and Instagram.

Skyeton has introduced a new Stormbird strike unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), based on the Raybird reconnaissance UAV.
