In the Slavic Community, public transport on city and suburban bus routes will be suspended from Friday, October 9, due to the worsening security situation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the head of the Slavyansk City Military Administration, Vadim Lyakh.<\/p>\n

According to him, the decision will come into effect on October 9<\/strong> and will apply to urban and suburban bus routes within the Slavyansk urban territorial community.<\/p>\n

Lyakh explained this step by the sharp deterioration of the security situation and Russian attacks on civilian transport.<\/p>\n

\u201cRussia is a terrorist country! It takes away the right of Slavs to freely move around their hometown,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

A Russian FPV drone hit a city bus in Slavyansk the day before, injuring two people.<\/p>\n

On October 8, Russian forces also attacked a bus in Kramatorsk. According to local authorities, the strike killed 30 people and injured 18 others. <\/p>\n

We will remind, earlier, the head of the Donetsk OAV, Vadym Filashkin, ordered to stop public transport in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk<\/a> due to the worsening security situation.<\/p>\n
