Posing as SBU officers, the Russians forced one of the boys to set fire to trucks, and instructed the other to block traffic on the road. Ukrainian law enforcement officers exposed the scheme and prevented further sabotage.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/ssu.gov.ua\/novyny\/sbu-vykryla-sprobu-rf-vchynyty-masshtabnu-dyversiiu-na-kyivshchyni-rukamy-nepovnolitnikh-video\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Security Service of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> According to the investigation, Russian special services initially met 16- and 17-year-old boys through Telegram chats to find relationships. To do this, they created fake pages of girls who began communicating with the teenagers.<\/p>\n<p> Later, the girls stopped contacting them, and instead, a man who introduced himself as an SBU officer wrote to the boys. He stated that their new acquaintances had allegedly been detained for treason, and that the teenagers themselves could be prosecuted as accomplices. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xoC1OhMTHT4?si=mrpNKMszdOzcMnzG\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p> To avoid a fictitious punishment, the boys were offered to allegedly help the investigation. In reality, it was the Russian special services who were behind this.<\/p>\n<p> At the direction of the curator, the 17-year-old set fire to several trucks belonging to a local logistics company and attempted to destroy other vehicles. He was also supposed to purchase screws, leave them in a hiding place, and give the coordinates to the Russians.<\/p>\n<p> A 16-year-old boy was supposed to collect the screws. He was instructed to scatter them on one of the roads in the Kyiv region to impede the movement of freight vehicles.<\/p>\n<p> SBU officers detained an older teenager after arson. Investigators informed him of suspicion of intentional destruction or damage to property by arson.<\/p>\n<p> The 17-year-old boy is currently in custody. He faces up to ten years in prison.
