A pre-trial investigation has been completed in the Rivne region into a 14-year-old girl accused of murdering a 27-year-old Ukrainian Army serviceman on the orders of Russian special services. The indictment has been sent to court, and the minor faces up to 15 years in prison.<\/strong><\/div>\n

According to the investigation, the girl met a Russian citizen on Telegram, who acted on the instructions of an FSB officer. He suggested that she kill a Ukrainian serviceman by poisoning him with methadone, and in return promised to organize a trip to the occupied territory.<\/p>\n

On January 30, the minor arrived at a rented apartment, where she prepared alcohol laced with a narcotic substance, which she received from customers through a logistics company. Later, a 27-year-old military man arrived there, whom the girl met on messenger 10 days before the crime.<\/p>\n

After consuming the mixture, the man fainted. While on video call with the supervisor, the girl strangled the serviceman. The cause of death was mechanical asphyxiation.<\/p>\n

Criminal investigation officers detained the suspect. She was informed of suspicion of premeditated murder ordered and in advance by a group of persons. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.<\/p>\n

Investigators also identified the curator and organizer of the order. Criminal proceedings against them are under investigation by the SBU.<\/p>\n

In addition, according to police, on November 11, the girl set fire to an Opel Campo military vehicle in Rivne on the orders of the Russian Federation. She was promised $1,000 for this, but she did not receive the money.<\/p>\n

A case was also filed against a minor on suspicion of treason under martial law, obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and intentional destruction of another’s property by arson.<\/p>\n

The documentation of illegal activities was carried out by police investigators and criminal investigation officers with the operational support of the military counterintelligence of the SBU and the procedural leadership of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

By the way, in the Kyiv region, Russian special services recruited two teenagers through fake Telegram accounts of girls<\/a> . Posing as SBU officers, the Russians forced one of the boys to set fire to trucks, and instructed the other to block traffic on the road. Ukrainian law enforcement officers exposed the scheme and prevented further sabotage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
