Russia, meanwhile, is strengthening the influence of its political satellites in the European Union through extensive propaganda, as evidenced by the results of the latest elections.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> &#8220;I was very disappointed that 50% of German voters believe that taxpayer funds spent on supporting Ukraine are wasted. And I believe this is happening because we are losing the information battle to Putin. The result? What kind of disaster is happening to the power grid, and how Europe could be paralyzed within 12 hours\u2014completely paralyzed\u2014if we don&#8217;t invest in security together,&#8221; warns Petro Poroshenko.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;So my proposal: let&#8217;s raise the issues of information security and obtaining accurate information. This isn&#8217;t propaganda; we&#8217;ll convey the truth through the eyes of your correspondents, whom people trust. We&#8217;ll be happy to create the necessary conditions for them,&#8221; says the Fifth President.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Russia already has a deep presence in your capitals through information. If you don&#8217;t invest in your defense against Russia, it will lure you into elections, using democratic mechanisms, and seize power.
