On the night of October 12, Russia attacked Ukraine with a Kh-59 guided missile and 121 strike drones. Air defenses shot down or suppressed 89 drones, but hits and destruction were recorded in several regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

According to the military, the Russians launched a Kh-59 missile from the airspace over the Black Sea, as well as 121 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Banderol, Dan-T types, Parody type simulator drones, and other drones.<\/p>\n

76 of the drones launched were jet-powered.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.<\/p>\n

As of 09:00, air defense had shot down or suppressed 89 enemy UAVs<\/strong> , including 55 Shahed, Gerber, and other types of jets.<\/p>\n

At the same time, airstrikes were recorded in 15 locations<\/strong> , and debris from downed targets fell in four more.<\/p>\n

Kharkiv<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In Kharkiv, a Russian “shaheed” directly hit a high-rise building in the Kyivskyi district.<\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> the city mayor Igor Terekhov.<\/p>\n

According to him, the impact destroyed the seventh to ninth floors of the building, and a fire broke out.<\/p>\n

As of this morning, five people are known to have been injured<\/strong> . Search and rescue operations are ongoing at the scene.<\/p>\n

Kharkiv region<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In Izyum, around midnight, the Russians, according to preliminary data, attacked the city with a loitering munition of the S-8000 \u201cBanderol\u201d type.<\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Izyum MBA.<\/p>\n

The impact was recorded on the road surface in the northern part of the city near a residential area. The blast wave and debris damaged approximately 15 private houses and one high-rise building<\/strong> , as well as power grids and internet lines. Some subscribers were left without electricity.<\/p>\n

One person was injured<\/strong> in the attack and received medical attention.<\/p>\n

Odesa region<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the south of the Odessa region, Russian troops attacked the logistics facilities of a postal operator.<\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by the head of the Odessa Oblast Administrative Organization, Oleg Kiper.<\/p>\n

The building’s facade, glazing, and equipment were damaged. No people were injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The consequences of the strike are currently being eliminated.
