A new site for the preparation and launch of Geran-5 jet attack drones has appeared in the Rostov region of Russia. The Russians equipped the main infrastructure in about a month and a half.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the OSINT channel “Absolutely Reliable Source”, which published satellite images of the object.<\/p>\n

The new complex is located near the town of Millerovo in Rostov Oblast. On its territory, analysts have identified at least eight launcher positions and 32 sites where drones can prepare for launch. <\/p>\n

Satellite images also showed equipment and signs of drone unloading.<\/p>\n

According to researchers, about six weeks passed from the start of site development to the appearance of the main launch infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The author of the study suggests that Russia accelerated the construction of the new facility to increase the number of launches of jet drones, particularly after their active use during the attacks on Ukraine in September.<\/p>\n

The new site is similar in layout to the Russian Tsimbulov drone port in the Oryol region. It also has separate areas for storing, preparing, and launching jet drones. <\/p>\n
