The Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed that the Kremlin continues to attack Ukrainian infrastructure despite the energy truce announced by US President Donald Trump.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.<\/p>\n

It is noted that on the night of October 14, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a massive strike using high-precision ground-based weapons and long-range strike drones.<\/p>\n

According to the department, communication and energy infrastructure facilities in Kyiv, Kyiv and Kharkiv regions were hit. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that these facilities are allegedly being used in the interests of the military-industrial complex and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, three facilities were hit in Kyiv. These are the ATM Ukrsibbank data processing center, the Darnytsia thermal power plant (CHP-4), and the Kyiv CHP-5.<\/p>\n

In the Kyiv region, according to the Russian version, the Kyiv CHPP-6, the Trypillya Thermal Power Plant (TPP), and the Kyivska electrical substation were hit.<\/p>\n

The Russians named two more targets in the Kharkiv region \u2014 Kharkiv CHPP-5 and Zmiivska CHPP.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that overnight, Russia used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 strike drones and loitering munitions against energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Kharkiv.<\/p>\n

According to him, it was a targeted ballistic strike specifically on the energy sector, for which US President Donald Trump had declared a ceasefire.<\/p>\n

“The blow is absolutely deliberate and indicative in its scale \u2014 there has never been such demonstrative disrespect from Russia towards America,” Zelensky stressed.<\/p>\n

“Russia does not consider the statements of the American President to be strong,” the head of state added.<\/p>\n

He also reported that about 600,000 people were left without electricity.<\/p>\n

“Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment at 26 elements of our power complex and at four facilities of the oil and gas complex,” the president noted.<\/p>\n

Earlier it was reported that US President Donald Trump announced the introduction of an energy truce in the war between Ukraine and Russia.<\/a> According to him, both sides agreed to stop attacks on energy facilities.<\/p>\n
