Soldiers of the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated how they used an anti-aircraft FPV drone to hit a Russian Mi-28NM attack helicopter. The enemy aircraft was intercepted directly in the air.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The corresponding video was published<\/a> on the brigade’s Telegram channel.<\/p>\n

According to the military, the operation was carried out by pilots of the Pribultsi anti-aircraft missile division, which is part of the 115th Motorized Rifle Brigade.<\/p>\n

They managed to hit a modernized Russian Mi-28NM attack helicopter using an FPV drone designed to intercept aerial targets.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn anti-aircraft FPV drone intercepted the aircraft in mid-air, leaving no chance for either the equipment or the crew,\u201d the brigade reported.<\/p>\n

The military released a video of the moment of the attack, but did not specify where exactly the operation took place.<\/p>\n

At the same time, according to sources of \u201cUkrainian Pravda\u201d, the Russian helicopter was hit on September 28, 2026.<\/strong> Previously, the date was not disclosed for security reasons.<\/p>\n

The Mi-28NM is a modernized version of the Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter, designed to engage ground targets and support troops from the air. <\/p>\n
