Frosts down to -3 degrees, rain and a sharp cold snap are expected in Ukraine. Forecasters have declared a yellow level of danger in a number of regions, and are predicting a new wave of autumn precipitation before the weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center and the head of the Cherkasy Regional Hydrometeorological Center, Vitaliy Postryhan.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, October 15, frosts of up to -3 degrees are possible on the surface of the soil in the northern regions, as well as in Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions. Because of this, the first level of danger – yellow – has been declared in these regions.<\/p>\n

At the same time, rains will cover a significant part of the country. In the east and southeast, precipitation will be moderate, and in places – significant during the day. It will be mostly dry in the north, in the central regions, in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.<\/p>\n

At night, the temperature will be +1…+6 degrees, in the south and east – +7…+12. During the day, the air will warm up to +10…+15 degrees, and in the far east – to +19. The wind will be north, 5-10 m\/s.<\/p>\n

Strygan also warned against reports of supposedly predicted ice. According to him, forecasters do not currently expect such a phenomenon.<\/p>\n

The cool weather will linger until at least the end of the week. According to the forecaster, a new wave of rain may hit Ukraine before the weekend.<\/p>\n
