He expects to discuss with Zelensky the results of negotiations in recent months regarding the rights of Hungarians in the field of education, the use of their native language, and administrative procedures.<\/p>\n<p> Magyar noted that Budapest has received relevant guarantees from Kyiv, but their implementation still needs to be verified in practice. He also expressed hope for improved relations between the countries and a possible next meeting with Zelensky in Berehove, Transcarpathia.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, the Hungarian Prime Minister opposed setting a specific date for Ukraine&#8217;s accession to the EU. According to him, negotiations should depend on the fulfillment of the necessary criteria, and the path to full membership could take as long as <strong>15\u201320 years<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p> Magyar cited the Western Balkan countries, which have been negotiating EU membership for many years, as an example. He stressed that Hungary supports full membership, not temporary or interim formats.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder,<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/uhorshchyna-dala-zelene-svitlo-na-vidkryttia-dvokh-klasteriv-dlia-ukrainy\/\">Hungary previously agreed to unblock two negotiation clusters for Ukraine<\/a> . Budapest linked this decision to guarantees for the protection of the educational rights of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia.<\/p>\n<p> Subsequently, on October 13, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/yes-ofitsiyno-vidkryv-dva-novi-perehovorni-klastery-dlia-ukrainy\/\">the EU officially opened two more negotiation clusters for Ukraine<\/a> \u2013 \u201cInternal Market\u201d and \u201cCompetitiveness and Inclusive Growth\u201d.
