Educational institutions will be able to independently choose the format of classes depending on the security situation and conditions in shelters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/Koretskyi_official\/841\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> this on Telegram.<\/p>\n<p> According to him, schools will be able to hold classes in regular classrooms, shelters, or combine in-person and distance learning. At the same time, each institution will independently determine how to organize the educational process, taking into account the capacity and arrangement of the shelter.<\/p>\n<p> Local authorities should help schools adapt to the new conditions. In particular, communities should consider the use of other equipped shelters where children can continue to learn during emergencies.<\/p>\n<p> If shelter-in-place does not have enough space to hold all classes, schools should prioritize math, science, language arts, civics, and history. Other subjects can be taught remotely if necessary.<\/p>\n<p> The government has paid special attention to the conditions of children in shelters. Schools that operate in person must provide them with places to study, lighting, backup power, internet access, and proper sanitation.<\/p>\n<p> Additionally, educational institutions should inform parents in advance about the format and schedule of classes so that families can plan their day.
