The first site of the project will be the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, which already has 3 specialized drones.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/Koretskyi_official\/847\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced<\/a> by Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky.<\/p>\n<p> The project will use drones to transport medical supplies between hospitals. The drones can travel up to 700 km and land on special sites at medical facilities.<\/p>\n<p> The flights will require approval from the military. The drones will have a special status and will be identified in the air.<\/p>\n<p> Rules of conduct during an air alert have also been defined, including the possibility of landing drones at a backup point.<\/p>\n<p> The project will be implemented by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Transformation. It is planned to create a Ukrainian civil drone flight management system (UTM) and define rules for their safe use.<\/p>\n<p> The government noted that in conditions of war and difficult road conditions, transporting medical supplies by car can take a significant amount of time. The use of drones should speed up the delivery of medicines, medical devices, blood samples for testing, and donor organs, particularly from remote areas.<\/p>\n<p> By the way, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/v-ukraini-pochaly-vyprobuvannia-drona-stargate-dlia-evakuatsii-poranenykh-viyskovykh\/\">Ukrainian defense technology company SkyFall has developed the StarGate drone for evacuating wounded soldiers from hard-to-reach positions<\/a> .
