One of the publication’s sources claims that the American president supported the businessman’s proposal.

This paved the way for the Pentagon to introduce speed restrictions on Starshield, the military’s version of a satellite communications system.

On Wednesday, October 14, Musk denied responsibility for restricting access to Starlink, placing the blame on the White House.

“Any speed or usage restrictions were determined by the US military and ultimately by the President of the United States,” Musk said.

At the same time, after the nightly events in Kyiv, which were called a “night of bloodshed” amid power outages, a high-ranking source reported that Musk was concerned about a possible negative reaction from European consumers.

The journalists do not cite Musk’s public statement in the material that would confirm his initiative to limit the work of Starlink.
