On the night of October 18, unknown persons in Lithuania tried to set fire to a company where Starlink equipment is stored, and in the morning an unknown drone flew into the country’s airspace. A car was damaged as a result of the drone’s crash in the Pasvaly district, but no one was injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by LRT<\/a> .<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevi\u010dius, the arson attempt failed because the relevant services warned the company in advance about possible attacks, after which security was increased there.<\/p>\n

Sinkevi\u010dius does not rule out that the appearance of the unknown drone could have been sabotage. To find out where the drone was flying from, he is convening a meeting of the National Security Commission on October 19.<\/p>\n

After the drone was detected in Lithuanian airspace, NATO fighter jets were dispatched to intercept it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
