Repair crews are continuing to work where the security situation allows, but the work is being complicated by airstrikes and the threat of repeated strikes.

Due to the consequences of Russian attacks, hourly outage schedules of up to two shifts will be in effect in some regions until the end of the day. Capacity restrictions are also foreseen for industrial enterprises.

In addition to the shelling, power outages were caused by bad weather. Due to rain and strong winds, about 140 settlements in the Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv regions were completely or partially without power as of this morning.

At the same time, electricity consumption in Ukraine increased. As of 9:30 a.m., it was 4.5% higher than on Friday, October 16. Ukrenergo explained this by cloudy weather and a decrease in the efficiency of household solar power plants.

Energy experts warn that the situation in the power system may change due to new shelling. Local regional energy companies publish current information about outages.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , X , Telegram , and Instagram .

On the night of October 19, Russian troops attacked energy facilities in 11 regions of Ukraine.
