During October 18, Russian forces used 463 strike drones of various types against Ukraine. The defense forces neutralized 418 enemy drones, which is more than 90% of the total.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

According to the military, during the day the Russians used “Shaheds” of various modifications, in particular “Shahed-131\/136\/238”, as well as “Parody”, “Gerbera”, “Banderol\/Dan-T” and “Italmas” drones.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian defenders managed to neutralize 418 of the 463 launched drones. Thus, the effectiveness of countering Russian drones was 90.28%.<\/p>\n

The General Staff emphasized that even with such indicators, Russian attacks remain dangerous for the civilian population and infrastructure. Drones that could not be neutralized continue to pose a threat.<\/p>\n

The military urged Ukrainians not to ignore air alert signals and not to publish information about the work of air defense on social networks.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Defense Forces continue to improve the means of detecting and destroying air targets. Particular attention is paid to countering new types of Russian drones, in particular, jet attack drones. <\/p>\n
