Instead of the 10% envisaged by the government, brigades could receive 20% or 30% of these revenues. According to the deputy, this will help the military independently provide for the urgent needs of the units.

She wrote about this on social media.

The deputy noted that the relevant proposals were submitted to the draft State Budget for 2027 No. 16000. Currently, the government’s version provides for the distribution of revenues from the “military” personal income tax as follows: 30% goes to the State Special Communications Service, and 10% goes directly to military units.

Yuzhanina proposes changing this ratio and increasing the share for military units to 20% or 30%, reducing the funding of the State Special Communications Service accordingly. In her opinion, brigades should have more resources for the operational procurement of necessary equipment and ensuring the implementation of combat missions.

The deputy emphasized that servicemen are still forced to spend their own money on the needs of their units. In particular, they collect money for fuel, tires and car repairs, as well as for other necessary things. At the same time, payments to servicemen have not been increased for years.

Yuzhanina emphasized that the financial support should remain a serviceman’s income, and not turn into an additional source of funding for the army. That is why, in her opinion, the funds should be directed directly to the brigades, which know their own needs.

In addition, the deputy demands to explain how the State Service for Special Communications used the funds from the “military” personal income tax received in 2026, what results were achieved through procurement, and how quickly the necessary equipment is being delivered to the military. She also questions why the government has allocated only 10% of the revenues for direct military units.

According to Yuzhanina, the proposal to increase the share of personal income tax for brigades is based on appeals from several hundred military units. She called for a review of the mechanism for distributing funds, taking into account the real needs of the defenders.

Previously, European Solidarity also called for a review of expenditures in the draft State Budget for 2027, reducing non-priority expenditures and directing the freed resources to defense and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Party leader Petro Poroshenko stated that, thanks to the redistribution of non-targeted expenditures, at least 500 billion hryvnias can be allocated to the needs of the army.

Among the demands of the political force are the allocation of additional funds for the purchase of weapons and defense technologies, the transfer of 30% of revenues from the “military” personal income tax directly to the brigades, the indexation of the military’s financial support, the protection of the energy sector and the economy, as well as the abolition of non-priority and propaganda expenses. In addition, the party emphasizes the need to fulfill Ukraine’s European obligations and restore the trust of allies.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , X , Telegram , and Instagram.

People’s Deputy from the European Solidarity faction Nina Yuzhanina proposes to increase the share of personal income tax (PIT) from the financial support of the military, which is directed directly to military units.
