This requirement applies to two categories of citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfu.gov.ua\/2181771-hto-do-kintsya-2026-roku-obov-yazkovo-maye-projty-fizychnu-identyfikatsiyu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Pension Fund of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> Annual identification is mandatory for Ukrainians temporarily residing abroad, as well as pensioners and recipients of insurance benefits who remain in the territories temporarily occupied by Russia.<\/p>\n<p> The PFU explained that there are several ways to confirm your identity:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>\n<div><\/p>\n<div>\n<p> Personally contact any Pension Fund service center or authorized bank, regardless of the place of registration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>\n<div><\/p>\n<div>\n<p> Pass identification via video link, having previously submitted an application on the PFU web portal<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>\n<div><\/p>\n<div>\n<p> Use Action.Signature (Action ID)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>\n<div><\/p>\n<div>\n<p> Contact the Ukrainian embassy or consulate if the pensioner is temporarily abroad<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> You can check whether the identification was successful, as well as find out the date of the last identity confirmation, using the &#8220;My Identification&#8221; service. It works in your personal account on the PFU electronic services portal and in the Pension Fund mobile application.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, not everyone needs to go through this procedure every year.
