In Transcarpathia, an indictment was sent to court against the chairman of the district military medical commission, suspected of organizing a scheme to evade mobilization using fictitious medical documents.<\/strong><\/div>\n

The Security Service of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region reported<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the official demanded $6,000 from conscripts to obtain certificates of limited fitness for military service due to health reasons. However, the men never actually underwent medical examinations.<\/p>\n

According to law enforcement, the head of the VLK entered false information into official documents, using outdated and unverified medical reports. These documents could subsequently serve as grounds for excluding conscripts from military registration.<\/p>\n

Investigators documented the official’s receipt of a portion of the unlawful benefit and the transfer of fictitious findings to the territorial recruitment and social support center.<\/p>\n

During searches at the defendant’s place of work and residence, funds worth almost 11 million hryvnias in hryvnia equivalent were seized.<\/p>\n

The official’s actions were classified under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine\u2014receiving an unlawful benefit by an official in a position of responsibility, involving extortion. The indictment has already been submitted to court.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
