The Kremlin said that the negotiation process to end the war in Ukraine is progressing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> “Dozhd” with reference to a statement by Yuri Ushakov, an assistant to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n

Answering journalists’ questions about the prospects for ending the war, Ushakov said that the negotiation process is ongoing, but it is still difficult to assess its results.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know how close we are, but it\u2019s moving towards that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The statement was made following Putin’s meeting with US President’s special representative Steve Witkoff<\/a> , which lasted almost three hours.<\/p>\n

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the war in Ukraine and the possibility of resuming trilateral meetings involving Kyiv, Washington, and Moscow.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Witkoff announced some progress in negotiations on Ukraine before meeting with Putin<\/a> . The American representative arrived in Russia after talks with Zelensky and European leaders.<\/p>\n
