The enterprise specializes in the repair, restoration and storage of air defense systems. According to open data, the Buk-M1, Buk-M2 and S-300V complexes were repaired there.<\/p>\n<p> These systems are used to shield Russian troops and strategic targets from air strikes. If the arsenal is significantly damaged, it could complicate the repair and restoration of Russian air defenses. At the same time, the final results of the attack are still unknown.<\/p>\n<p> Serpukhov was one of the targets of a large-scale attack on Russia that began overnight. Explosions were also reported in Lipetsk, Tula, Kursk and Belgorod regions. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 90 drones were allegedly heading towards the Russian capital.<\/p>\n<p> The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of October 22, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the 75th arsenal in Serpukhov with long-range weapons.
