Over the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces recorded 165 combat clashes along the entire front line. The situation remains tense, but the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy’s assaults, inflicting colossal losses in manpower and equipment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Dobropillya sector remains one of the most challenging for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Russian troops have achieved some tactical successes in this section of the front. Specifically, the occupiers have managed to consolidate their positions in the area of Novy Donbas and the Belitskaya mine, while in Dobropillya itself, they continue to employ infiltration tactics using small assault groups.<\/p>\n

There is information about the advance of Russian troops in the area of the village of Gannovka, as well as in the direction of the Almaznaya mine waste heap.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It should be noted that logistics routes for the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Dobropillia pass near the waste heap. Furthermore, the waste heap itself is a commanding height, control of which could pose additional threats to Ukrainian units.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

If the occupiers gain a foothold, we will face serious logistics problems. However, given previous experience and the fact that the fighting is primarily being conducted by small assault groups on both sides, meaning a limited number of personnel are involved, the logistics problem can be addressed to a certain extent by using ground-based robotic systems.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Please note that Dobropillia remains under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. All statements by the Russian military command about the city’s capture are enemy information and psychological operations. The point is that the commander of the Center Group of Forces of the occupation army is…\u00a0 <\/span>Ivanaev deliberately misinforms Putin, reporting on non-existent successes and setting unrealistic goals for his subordinates \u2013 to demonstrate the capture of a Ukrainian city at any cost.<\/p>\n

According to Vasily Rim, Chief of Staff of the Burevaya Brigade Battalion, Russian troops employ a “borrowing” tactic: when enemy advances appear on maps that don’t actually exist, they send assault teams, most of which never return.<\/p>\n

According to reports from the scene, Russian troops have reached the immediate approaches to Dobropillya from the east, southeast, and south. At the same time, small assault groups have managed to penetrate the southern part of Dobropillya, particularly the area south of the railway that divides the city.<\/p>\n

The occupiers are also actively infiltrating the surrounding villages. Specifically, the presence of Russian infantry has been detected in the areas of Chernigovka, Vodyanskoye, Novogrishino, and Krasnopolye.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Russians are taking advantage of the autumn fogs and deteriorating weather to move on foot and in light motorcycles. Individual groups entering the city are quickly identified as drones and destroyed by defense forces.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to fighters from the Lyuberty Brigade, the fields around the city are littered with the bodies of occupiers\u2014in just a few meters, fighters count dozens of dead stormtroopers. The offensive is coming at a very high price for the enemy.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

On the Shakhovskoye section, the adjacent village of Zolotoy Kolodets has been lost for now. Invading forces are also reportedly penetrating into areas north of it, near the villages of Maryevka, Petrovka, and Novotroitske, putting additional pressure on the flanks of the Ukrainian defense.<\/p>\n

Occupation forces are attempting to encircle the city from the south and east in order to cut off logistical routes to Barvenkovo and reach the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration from the southwest.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the former press secretary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev,\u00a0 <\/span>Dobropillia is a key logistics hub. Holding this area by the Defense Forces blocks Russian direct access to the larger Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration and protects the communications of Ukrainian units on adjacent sections of the front.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Seleznev concludes that although the situation remains very difficult due to the enemy’s numerical superiority, the Ukrainian army is holding key defensive lines and preventing the occupiers from making a rapid breakthrough.<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions and defend Ukrainian soil.<\/p>\n
