The restrictions include manufacturers of components for Russian ballistic missiles, suppliers of electronics and equipment for the Russian military-industrial complex, and the RUSAL industrial group.

This was reported by the press service of the President’s Office.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to introduce 2 sanctions packages.

The first list includes 51 individuals and 44 legal entities associated with the production of Russian missiles. These are enterprises and their managers that supply raw materials, equipment, and tools for the production of Iskander, Caliber, Kh-101, and Kinzhal missiles.

Among the enterprises that fell under restrictions:

“G. S. Petrov Institute of Plastics” is a manufacturer of components for composite materials, which are supplied to enterprises of the defense, aerospace, aviation and shipbuilding complexes.

“Corporation of Special Purpose Space Systems “Kometa”” is an enterprise that manufactures anti-aircraft missile systems, radar equipment, and airborne equipment.

“VitaReaktiv” is a supplier of chemical raw materials.

“Promenergo” is a developer of optical, laser and optoelectronic devices and systems.

“Kirov Biochemical Plant” is an enterprise involved in the production and modernization of weapons and military equipment.

“All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Metrology named after D. I. Mendeleev” is an institution engaged in scientific research, production of measuring equipment, and development of software for weapons.

The second package of sanctions covers 32 Russian citizens and 35 companies. Among them are suppliers of communication and control equipment for FPV drones, foreign electronics, and machine tools for enterprises that produce Kh-101 and Kh-59 missiles and Orion drones.

The list, in particular, includes the companies “Gagaring”, “Virgin-EK” and the machine tool building association “Pressmash”.

Sanctions were also imposed against the RUSAL industrial group, whose products are used in the production of military aircraft, armored vehicles, missiles and drones. In particular, RUSAL Trading House and RUSAL Taishet Aluminum Plant supplied raw materials for the production of weapons.

The Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy of Ukraine, Vladyslav Vlasyuk, stated that Ukraine continues to identify enterprises involved in the production of Russian missiles and other weapons.

“We are working on expanding these sanctions to other jurisdictions. Taken together, this should significantly weaken the capabilities of the Russian military-industrial complex to produce weapons,” said Vladyslav Vlasyuk.

Recall that Norway has introduced a new package of sanctions against Russia , which corresponds to the 21st package of the European Union. The restrictions apply to Russian banks, the oil industry, cryptocurrencies and the “shadow fleet”. They will come into effect on October 21.

Earlier, on October 15, the Council of the European Union imposed additional sanctions against three individuals and nine companies that helped Russia circumvent European restrictions . These include the supply of prohibited goods to the Russian Federation, financial transactions, and trade in Russian oil.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , X , Telegram , and Instagram .

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed two decrees imposing sanctions on individuals and companies that help Russia produce missiles and other weapons.
