A 46-year-old woman was killed and 14 others were injured in a Russian missile attack on Kyiv on the night of October 27. Hits were recorded in six districts of the capital. Due to the consequences of the shelling, the operation of the green metro line was temporarily changed and bus services were increased.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to law enforcement officials, among the 13 injured in the Desnyansky district are two emergency medical personnel. Another injured person, a 22-year-old man, is in the Obolonsky district. <\/p>\n

Russian strikes damaged high-rise and private residential buildings, medical facilities, a metro station, a university dormitory, a business center, and an administrative building. Trams and cars were also damaged. <\/p>\n

During the attack, a Russian missile hit the Southern Bridge, causing it to be temporarily closed to traffic.<\/p>\n

How the subway works after the attack<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the morning of October 27, the red metro line operates as usual \u2014 between the Akademmistechko and Lisova stations. All stations on this line are open to passengers.<\/p>\n

On the green line, trains run only between the “Syrets” and “Vydubychi” stations. The section from “Osokorki” to “Chervony Khutor” is temporarily closed.<\/p>\n

During an air raid, all underground metro stations continue to function as shelters.<\/p>\n

How bus traffic changed<\/strong><\/p>\n

Due to the restrictions on metro traffic and the closure of the Southern Bridge in Kyiv, bus service has been increased. 15 buses will run on temporary route No. 1-M.<\/p>\n

Buses No. 22 and No. 91 run across Darnytskyi Bridge. Four buses have been added to route No. 22, bringing the total to 14. Five of them will operate on a shortened route from Trostyanetska Street to Lybidska metro station.<\/p>\n

Four buses have also been added to route No. 91, so there will be a total of seven buses operating there.<\/p>\n

The Kyiv City State Administration urged passengers to plan their trips in advance and follow the announcements on official resources. The resumption of regular metro traffic will be announced later.<\/p>\n

As reported, on Monday, October 26, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles<\/a> . In the Dnipro district, two medical facilities were damaged, and a person was reportedly killed near one of the supermarkets. In the Desnyanskyi district, an ambulance brigade came under fire.<\/p>\n
