The People’s Deputies propose allowing businesses to operate without shelter during a yellow air alert if employees agree to such conditions. To this end, they have prepared a draft resolution with an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> the People’s Deputy from the “Servant of the People” Igor Fris,<\/p>\n

According to the parliamentarian, the document has already been prepared and submitted for signature to representatives of all parliamentary factions and groups of the Verkhovna Rada.<\/p>\n

The initiative involves appealing to the government to amend the resolution that obliges businesses to provide shelter during a yellow air alert.<\/p>\n

Thus, the authors of the project propose to provide enterprises with the opportunity to continue working without shelter, subject to the consent of employees. This is a proposal to change the current rules, not a decision that has already been made.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Ukrainian businesses must provide employees and visitors with access to shelters or safe spaces by December 4, 2026.<\/a> If a business fails to comply with this requirement, it will not be able to continue operating during a yellow air alert.<\/p>\n
