US President Donald Trump has suggested that Venezuela could become the 51st state of the United States in the future. During a campaign rally in Texas, he also showed off a tanker carrying Venezuelan oil.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Guardian writes<\/a> about this, referring to Trump’s speech on October 27.<\/p>\n

“Venezuela will become a prosperous country, and who knows? Maybe soon it will become a prosperous 51st state,” the American president said.<\/p>\n

Trump also called the deal struck with the Venezuelan government after the removal of former President Nicolas Maduro from power “the biggest victory for the oil industry in history.”<\/p>\n

“I want to thank Venezuela, where our relationship has become very, very good, wonderful,” he told supporters at a rally in Corpus Christi, Texas, dedicated to the midterm elections.<\/p>\n

In addition, Trump showed off an oil tanker, which, according to him, was carrying one million barrels of Venezuelan oil.<\/p>\n

Earlier it was reported that US President Donald Trump announced the conclusion of a “historic” oil deal with Venezuela<\/a> , which provides for American control over a significant part of its proven reserves.
