On October 28, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2027 in the first reading. The decision was supported by 239 people’s deputies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The result of the vote was announced by<\/a> People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> the Budget Committee, 5,236 amendments were submitted to the project, from which 90 budget conclusions were formed. To take all the proposals into account, an additional 13.5 trillion hryvnias would have been required, so some were rejected.<\/p>\n

Among the supported proposals is an increase in the financial support of military personnel.<\/strong> The initial version of Amendment No. 1279 provided for an increase in payments by at least 20% from January 2027. However, the specific percentage was removed, so the final amount of the increase has not yet been determined.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the deputies did not support the amendments to limit the salaries of civil servants to 80 thousand hryvnias per month and direct funds from plea agreements exclusively to the budget.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky stated<\/a> that the project takes into account the needs of defense, the financial stability of the state, and the fulfillment of social obligations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe government will process the Parliament’s Budget Conclusions and prepare the draft for the second reading,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

The final adoption of the 2027 State Budget will take place after further consideration in parliament.<\/p>\n
