Ukraine already has at least five models of interceptor drones that can shoot down Shahed jets. Some of them show high efficiency, but their performance can only be fully assessed after wider use in the military.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by Ukrinform, citing a statement by the president’s non-staff advisor, Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov, during a briefing.<\/p>\n

According to him, Ukraine has at least five models of interceptors designed to combat Russian jet drones.<\/p>\n

“There are at least five interceptors. And there are interceptors whose effectiveness is very high,” Beskrestnov noted.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he explained that it is too early to talk about the effectiveness of each model in general. For this, interceptors need to start using various units on a massive scale.<\/p>\n

Only after that, according to the presidential advisor, will it be possible to assess how well they cope with the Shahed jets.<\/p>\n

Recall that Russia produces more ballistic missiles than the world produces interceptors for Patriot systems<\/a> . Because of this, it is increasingly difficult for Ukraine to provide protection for cities from missile attacks, said Serhiy \u201cFlash\u201d Beskrestnov, a non-staff advisor to the President of Ukraine on the development of technological areas of defense.<\/p>\n
