Residents of the temporarily occupied Oleshki in the Kherson region are planned to be evacuated to Ukraine via Russia and Belarus. This route has been agreed upon by the Ukrainian and Russian sides.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> Fox News, a published document signed by Russian human rights commissioner Yana Lantratova stipulates that those wishing to evacuate will first be taken to Anapa in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

From there, the Ukrainian delegation and the residents of Oleshki are planned to be transported by a military transport plane of the Russian Defense Ministry to Gomel, Belarus. This could happen on October 31.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said<\/a> that he is still on his way to Oleshki. He commented on the reports about his stay in Russia and urged not to draw premature conclusions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going there to personally be there and see what\u2019s happening. To inform you about the progress of the mission,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Lubinets emphasized that the negotiations were difficult and lengthy, and the humanitarian mission is still far from complete.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we are only halfway to our goal: so please, let’s leave all the questions until I return home,\u201d the ombudsman noted.<\/p>\n

The Ombudsman’s Office emphasized that the published document is not a military or political agreement. The mission’s goal remains the rescue of civilians, and the temporarily occupied territories are the territory of Ukraine. <\/p>\n
