Alternatively, the US should provide Kyiv with missiles for Patriot systems.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div><\/p>\n<div>\n<p> President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with Fox News.<\/p>\n<p> According to the head of state, he held several discussions on this issue with US President Donald Trump and his aides. Washington is asking Ukraine to suspend attacks on Russian oil refineries.<\/p>\n<p> Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine cannot ignore Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, particularly power generation facilities, the gas industry, and oil refining facilities.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, the president stated that Kyiv is ready to stop such attacks if Moscow stops striking the Ukrainian energy system.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;There&#8217;s another option: provide us with Patriot missiles. We&#8217;ll find the funds\u2014this isn&#8217;t just a request for assistance. We&#8217;re ready to pay for them,&#8221; Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n<p> He clarified that the duration of the pause in strikes on Russian oil refineries would depend on how long Ukraine has been provided with missiles. For example, if the US wants a month-long pause in attacks, it must provide Patriot missiles for the same period.<\/p>\n<p> According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine has not attacked Russian oil refineries for two weeks at the request of the US presidential administration. However, Russia continued to attack civilian infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p> On Friday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces resumed strikes. Three days later, Ukrainian forces struck three oil refineries\u2014Kstovsky, Novokuibyshevsky, and Bashneft-Novoil. According to reports, this knocked out approximately 10% of Russia&#8217;s oil refining capacity.
