In Kyiv, in Borshchahivka, law enforcement officers detained a man who, while intoxicated, was shooting from the balcony of his apartment into the yard of the house. No one was injured in the incident, and the detainee was reported on suspicion of hooliganism with the use of a previously prepared object.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> the Kyiv police.<\/p>\n

The police received a report of the shooting at around 6:00 p.m. Special forces from Police Regiment No. 1 and the investigative and operational group of the district administration arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement officers established that a Kyiv resident, while intoxicated, fired at least 5 shots from a traumatic pistol into the yard of a house.<\/p>\n

The man was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. During the search, a traumatic pistol and 50 cartridges were seized from him.<\/p>\n

Investigators of the Svyatoshyn Police Department under the procedural guidance of the Svyatoshyn District Prosecutor’s Office informed the man of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – hooliganism with the use of an object prepared in advance to inflict bodily harm.<\/p>\n

The sanction of the article provides for up to 7 years of imprisonment. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect is currently being decided.<\/p>\n

We will remind you that in the Svyatoshynskyi district of Kyiv, a shooting occurred during a conflict between men on the street<\/a> . As a result of the incident, 1 man died, another was hospitalized, and the alleged shooter was detained.<\/p>\n

Earlier, in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk , a 21-year-old man beat a girl during a conflict due to jealousy, and then attacked two passers-by who witnessed the fight<\/a> . He hit one of them with the handle of a pistol and wounded the other with a shot in the hand.<\/p>\n
