144 children died in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s armed aggression

As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, as of the morning of March 29, 2022, 144 children were killed and more than 220 were injured.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
“Children suffered the most in Kyiv – 68, Kharkiv – 49, Donetsk – 54, Chernihiv – 38, Mykolaiv – 30, Luhansk – 28, Zaporizhia – 22, Zhytomyr – 15, Sumy – 15, Kherson – 25 regions and the city of Kyiv – 16 . Data on dead and injured children in the city of Mariupol are also being established,” the message says.
In particular, on March 28, 2022, a 3-year-old child died from mine-explosive injuries in the Luhansk region.
Also on March 28, 2022, as a result of the shelling of a village in the Zaporizhia region, the occupiers wounded three civilians, including a child.
«Due to the bombing and shelling, 773 educational institutions were damaged, 75 of which were completely destroyed. The most damaged were in the Donetsk, Kharkiv regions, the city of Kyiv, the Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kyiv and Kherson regions,” the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office added.
These figures are not final, given the lack of opportunity to inspect the places of shelling, where the aggressor country is waging active hostilities and in the temporarily occupied territories.
