Ukrainian defenders already destroy 105 Russian planes
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale offensive against Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders have already destroyed 105 enemy planes.
“Currently, 105 enemy planes are considered destroyed, constituting more than five aviation regiments or a separate air army,” Oleksiy Arestovych, non-staff adviser to the Head of the President’s Office, said at a briefing.
Moreover, Arestovych added, six Russian planes, one enemy helicopter, five UAVs, and five cruise missiles were shot down over the past 24 hours.
On February 24, Russian president Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems, and ballistic missiles.
