On March 28, the Russian army lost at least 1,360 troops in 24 hours. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 65 enemy artillery systems and 16 armored combat vehicles.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from February 24, 2022 to March 29, 2026 are approximately:
- personnel – about 1,295,830 (+1,360) people;
- tanks – 11,820 (+8);
- combat armored vehicles – 24,313 (+16);
- artillery systems – 39,001 (+65);
- MLRS – 1,707 (+0);
- air defense systems – 1,337 (+0);
- aircraft – 435 (+0);
- helicopters – 350 (+0);
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 204,060 (1948);
- cruise missiles – 4491 (+0);
- ships and boats – 33 (+0);
- submarines – 2 (+0);
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 85,977 (+181);
- special equipment – 4,105 (+0).
The General Staff emphasizes that these data are approximate and are being updated.
