A drone attack was recorded over the territory of Dagestan at night, which resulted in the destruction of one of the industrial facilities in Makhachkala.

This was announced by the head of the republic, Sergei Melikov.

According to him, the drones targeted one of the region’s enterprises, but he did not provide details about the specific facility. However, local sources claim that it was the Dagnotech plant, which specializes in oil refining.

Melikov noted that there were no casualties as a result of the attack. The level of damage is currently being determined, and emergency services are working at the scene of the incident.

Dagnefteprodukt is the largest oil transshipment complex on the Caspian coast of Russia, which is of critical importance for foreign economic logistics. Its subsidiary plant, Dagnotech, was nationalized by the Russian authorities in August 2025.

It should be noted that the plant is located 1,700 km from Ukraine and 1,200 kilometers from the contact line.

As a reminder, on the night of October 22 , Saransk in the Republic of Mordovia was subjected to a massive attack by suicide drones, with the Saransk Mechanical Plant among the targets . The first explosions occurred at around 3 a.m.; local eyewitnesses released footage showing the drones hitting the plant and a large mushroom-shaped column of flame rising above it.

As reported, on Tuesday, October 21, the Air Force, together with the Ground Forces, the Navy, and other components of the Defense Forces, attacked the Bryansk Chemical Plant.
