1,900 kilometers from the border: Ukrainian drones attacked oil refineries in Omsk and Ukhta
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the destruction of Russian oil refineries in Omsk and Ukhta, as well as another data center. According to him, An-196 RS drones were used to attack the Ukhta refinery, located 1,900 km from the state border of Ukraine.
He wrote about this on Facebook .
Zelensky noted that the Ukhta Oil Refinery was hit by An-196 RS drones, whose flight range is about 2,500 km. The day before, FP-6s – modified FP-1s – were used to attack the Omsk Oil Refinery.
“We continue to respond to Russia’s attacks on Ukraine and we are doing it accurately,” the president said.
He also reported the destruction of another data center, calling it a mirror response from Ukraine.
“The accuracy of our soldiers is important. Glory to Ukraine!” Zelensky emphasized.
By the way, on the night of October 9, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck facilities in Russia related to missile infrastructure and the production of rocket fuel components . Among the targets were the Research Institute of Launch Complexes, the Redkin Research Plant , and the Center for the Elimination of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles.
Recall that the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Omsk Oil Refinery in Russia on October 8. The enterprise is located approximately 2,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border and supplies fuel to the Russian army.
