10 more Ukrainian defenders returned from Russian captivity
Ukraine has returned 10 more servicemen from Russian captivity. The fighters of the Armed Forces and the National Guard, who defended Ukraine in the Donetsk direction, have returned home.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
The servicemen were returned as part of a special exchange phase. They arrived in Ukraine through the territory of Belarus.
According to Zelensky, all ten defenders were previously considered missing.
“And it is very important that we managed to return them. Thank you to everyone who works every day to return our people,” the president noted.
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine continues to work to release all military and civilians who remain in Russian captivity.
“We remember each and every person who remains in captivity. We are searching for each name. And we will do everything to free them and return them home,” he added.
