118 clashes recorded on the front: in which directions has the situation escalated

Over the past 24 hours, 118 combat clashes and hundreds of shelling, airstrikes, and kamikaze drone attacks have been recorded at the front, with the enemy trying to break through the defenses in several directions.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on March 5.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out three missile strikes using three missiles, 85 air strikes, dropped 238 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,054 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,407 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 61 from multiple rocket launchers.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrograd, Havrylivka, Kolomyytsi, Pysantsi, Vozdvizhivka, Girke, Rivne, Hulyaipilske, Charivne, Kopany, Svitla Dolyna.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck three command posts, eight areas of manpower concentration, and three artillery systems.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy carried out 124 attacks, 4 of which were using MLRS. It also carried out four airstrikes using 11 CABs. Two clashes were recorded during the day.

On the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy once tried to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the area of the settlement of Grafske.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of Pishchane, Kurylivka, and Kivsharivka.

The enemy attacked three times in the Lyman direction. He tried to penetrate our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve, Zarichne, and Stavky.

In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped six attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Dronivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, and Yampol.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders attacked in the direction of Orikhovo–Vasylivka, Bondarne, and Mykolaivka.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 15 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 22 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske and towards the Red Estuary.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of Ivanivka, Andriivka–Klevtsovoye, Novohryhorivka, Zeleny Gay, Krasnohirske, Zlagoda, and Ternovoye.

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 14 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Hulyaipil, Dobropil, Zaliznychny, and Myrny.

The enemy did not launch any attacks in the Orikhiv direction.

In the Dnieper direction, the invaders attacked twice – in the areas of the Antonivskyi Bridge and Belogrudy Island.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
