120 clashes have taken place on the front since the beginning of the day: which directions are the hottest?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on March 8, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 120 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The enemy carried out 50 air strikes, dropped 178 guided bombs, used 5,900 kamikaze drones, and carried out 2,660 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops.
In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions today, the enemy carried out one air strike, dropped two aerial bombs, and carried out 110 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the Russian occupiers once attacked the positions of our defenders in the direction of the settlement of Zybyne.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked twice towards the settlement of Kurylivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attacks by the occupiers towards the settlements of Stavky, Drobysheve, and Lyman.
In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy tried to advance seven times in the areas of Zakitne, Riznykovka, and Platonovka. Four clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked twice in the area of Nikiforivka and Chasovye Yar. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders stormed the positions of our defenders 18 times today in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillya, Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and towards Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy carried out 18 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Myrnograd, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and towards the settlements of Shevchenko and Sergiyevka. One attack is ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 42 occupiers were eliminated and 13 wounded in this direction today. One artillery system, 12 units of special equipment, two units of motor transport were destroyed, a tank, seven artillery systems, two units of motor transport, two units of special equipment and 11 enemy shelters were damaged. 158 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Ternove, Zlagoda, Vorone and towards the settlements of Andriivka-Klevtsove, Pryvillya. Enemy airstrikes were carried out on Pidhavrilivka, Gavrilivka, Oleksandrivka, Pokrovske, Pysanci, and Malynovka.
In the Hulyaipil direction, 17 clashes occurred in the area of Myrne and towards Zaliznychny, Girky, and Svyatopetrivka. The enemy carried out airstrikes on the areas of the settlements of Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Kopany, Zahirne, Hulyaipilske, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, one clash with the enemy occurred near Stepnohirsk. The settlements of Komyshuvakha and Orikhiv were subjected to enemy air strikes.
In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack towards the Antoniv Bridge.
No significant changes in the situation have been recorded in other areas so far.
