164 clashes were recorded on the front: almost a third of them in the Pokrov direction

Over the past 24 hours, December 7, 164 combat clashes were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front.

This was reported to the General Staff.

The Pokrovsky direction saw the most fighting — almost a third of the total. The defense forces stopped 53 assault actions of the aggressor in the directions of Novyy Shakhovye, Novyy Donbas, Bilytsky, Rodynsky, Chervony Lyman, Pokrovsk, Hryshyn, Myrnograd, Molodetsky, Novopavlivka and in the areas of the settlements of Shakhovye, Novoekonomichne, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, Filiya.

In the Hulyaipil direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 20 Russian attacks near Rybne, Radisne, Varvarivka, Dobropillya, Zeleny, and Hulyaipil.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy tried 18 times to advance Ukrainian positions in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Yablunivka and towards the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillya, Rusyn Yar, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.

In the Lymansky direction, the invaders carried out 16 assaults, seeking to wedge into the defenses near Hrekivka, Seredny, Derylovye, Zarechny, Myrny, and in the directions of Oleksandrivka, Stavky, and Torske.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Yalta, Sosnivka, Verbovye, Vorone, Zlagoda, Krasnohirske, Pryvilne, Solodke and towards Vyshneve.

In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 6 enemy attacks near Yampol, Dronivka, and Serebryanka.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped four enemy attacks in the Vovchansk area.

In the Kupyansk direction, the invaders tried to advance twice. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the direction of Peschany.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy made two attempts to break through the defenses in the direction of Novoandreyevka and Prymorske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, one combat clash occurred near Chasovy Yar.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy once unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the Antoniv Bridge.
