18 injured in Kyiv after Russian attack: houses and Kyivvodokanal damaged

In Kyiv, the number of people injured in the night attack by Russia has increased to 18. Among them are two children. Kyivvodokanal facilities were also damaged during the shelling.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the police, and Kyivvodokanal reported on the consequences of the attack.

According to law enforcement officials, most of the victims are residents of the damaged 16-story building in the Dnipro district. Among the injured are a 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy.

Damage after the Russian attack was recorded in the Darnytsia, Dniprovska, and Solomianska districts. Residential buildings, educational institutions, a municipal building, cars, and a railway line were affected.

Russian troops also struck Kyivvodokanal facilities. Due to the shelling, the company temporarily partially suspended water supply on the left bank and reduced pressure in the networks of certain areas on the right bank.

Specialists quickly restored the damaged facilities. Currently, Kyivvodokanal is operating normally, and the capital’s water supply is fully operational.

Investigative teams, explosives technicians, and other specialized services are working at the scene of the attacks.

Recall that on the night of Thursday, September 17, Russian occupation forces attacked Kyiv with missiles . Residential buildings, office buildings, and warehouses were damaged in several areas of the capital.
