2.5 million Ukrainians have applied for “Winter Support”

Since the launch of the Winter Support program on November 15, 2.5 million citizens have already applied for a one-time benefit of 1,000 hryvnia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this.

According to the head of state, in the first two hours after the service’s launch, half a million applications were submitted to Deistviya. Of the total number of applicants, 300,000 applied for children.

The President also noted that, starting November 18, assistance applications will be available through Ukrposhta. This should make it easier for citizens who don’t have smartphones or internet access to submit applications.

You can submit your application until December 24 via the “Action” app or at Ukrposhta branches. Funds will be transferred within 10 days of application. They can be spent until June 2026.

“We want everyone who needs support to be able to receive it. The program will cover the widest possible range of citizens,” Zelensky emphasized.

It was previously reported that a “winter support” program would be launched in Ukraine in December , providing one-time payments to various categories of citizens. The benefit amount will range from 1,000 to 6,500 hryvnias.

As a reminder, Ukrainians will be able to travel by rail within the country free of charge.
