The 2026 World Cup closing ceremony will take place in the United States on Sunday, July 19, after which Spain and Argentina will meet in the final. For the first time in World Cup history, FIFA will hold a full-scale musical show during the halftime of the final match.

The 2026 World Cup Closing Ceremony will take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA. The gala show will begin at 8:30 p.m. Kyiv time , 90 minutes before the final match between Spain and Argentina, which kicks off at 10:00 p.m.
In Ukraine, the live broadcast of the ceremony, analytical studio and final will be provided by the MEGOGO media service. The broadcast will start at 20:20. The broadcast will be available free of charge on the MEGOGO SPORT TV channel in the digital broadcast of T2 and cable networks, as well as by subscription on the MEGOGO OTT platform and the “Football 1” channel.
FIFA has prepared an entertainment program in the format of the American Super Bowl, which will consist of two parts: a closing ceremony before the match and a separate musical show during the halftime of the final. This is the first time in the history of the World Cup that the organizers will hold a full concert between halves.
According to information close to FIFA, the break between halves will last 17 minutes instead of the standard 15. The musical performance itself will take about 11 minutes, another 6 minutes will be needed for the assembly and dismantling of the stage, as well as the preparation of the field. Earlier it was reported that the break could be increased to 20-25 minutes, but the organizers decided to limit it to 17 minutes.
The halftime show will feature performances by Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, BTS, Burna Boy, Coldplay, the PS 22 Children’s Choir and New York Philharmonic conductor Gustavo Dudamel. The musical extravaganza also aims to support FIFA’s Global Citizen Education Fund.
The closing ceremony before the final will feature actor Tom Cruise, Italian singer Laura Pausini, American singer Nicole Scherzinger, British singer Robbie Williams, blogger IShowSpeed, and Jennifer Hudson will perform a special version of the US national anthem before the decisive match. FIFA said the ceremony will pay tribute to the passion, emotion and spirit of unity that accompanied the 2026 World Cup.
