All matches of the first round of Group B at the 2026 World Cup have been played. Qatar caused a real sensation by drawing 1-1 with Switzerland.
The Swiss, who were the favourites in this match, led for almost the entire match, but they believed in their advantage too early and conceded a goal in stoppage time for the second half.
After the first round, all teams in Group B have one point each, having played their matches in a draw with the same score of 1:1.
